At Open Beliefs Scotland, we strive to promote understanding and respect among diverse belief systems. Our mission is to foster a community that values inclusivity and open dialogue that involves everyone, all sorts of people, all shades of belief.
For all those people who are "spritiual but not relgious" they need representation too.

OBS started as a group of friends spending our time exploring the area in between being religious and being humanist and how that fits into our culture and communities. From there we have grown and become formalised in what we do, in our membership and actvities

We run regular discussion groups for our members, both online and in person. We cover all kinds of topics that relate to our misson of including everyone in cultural life.
As we continue to grow, we plan further activities in the future.

As one part of our work we have a small number of celebrants who can provide legal weddings and other services and ceremonies in a way that fits with our beliefs, so that everyone in such important parts of the culture of our communities.

Your contribution can make a big difference to our work in the community and to the causes we support. Get in touch to find out how to help.

Every years we nominate two charities that align with our values to support through our work.
This year we have chosen Aberlour Children's Charity and The River Dee Trust Million Trees Campaign
